INSIDE TUNNEL
SOS posts for tunnel installation of type 2FO are designed to allow communication of tunnel users with security staff at the control desk. Inside all elements for control and supervision purposes can be installed together with the necessary protection and LV distribution equipment. In the following the characteristics are described:
- Robust cabinet made of 2 mm thick steel thick with reinforced profiles of the same material, protection IP54, powder coated in RAL 2004 on background electrolytic protection.
- Two 4” speaker 15 W
- Built-in microphone with metal grid protection
- Digital control module for fiber optics communication
- Battery power supply for 6 hours
- Communication push button
- Dry powder fire extinguishers type A, B, C (2 pcs.)
- LV switches and protections
- Call button signage in Spanish, English, French and German (other languages under request), saying: "PRESS BUTTON FOR HELP AND STAY PENDING"
- Fire alarm push button on the front of the SOS post
All the above elements are supplied mounted in the cabinet and wired to terminals. The digital control module operates at temperatures of 0 to 50 °C and relative humidity between 10 to 95% without condensation.
LED lamps with high durability and low power consumption will provide interior lighting, being battery powered. There is a pre-installation for a third LED lamp for the luminous SOS sign.
